WP4 – Technical Requirements, Conceptual Design and Validation

The fourth Work Package (WP4) focuses on establishing technical requirements, practical feasibility-testing and demonstration of core ideas and component technologies towards the implementation of the RI. While allowing for emerging future technologies, certain needs must nevertheless be addressed at this stage. This task is being lead by EPHE.

Objectives

• Planning the conceptual design of the RESILIENCE technical infrastructure, including establishing needs and how to guarantee core services across a distributed environment.
• Establishing the feasibility of models for best long-term cost and technical sustainability.
  Testing and demonstrating the feasibility of core components for essential tasks (scholarly ‘primitives’).
• The extensibility of existing solutions to accommodate the specific needs of Religious Studies.
