Finalized Program “Religion at the Greenhouse. Exploring the Dynamics and Growth of RESILIENCE”

We’re excited to share with you the finalized program of the event "Religion at the Greenhouse. Exploring the Dynamics and Growth of RESILIENCE" scheduled 11 May 2026, which promises to be a rich day of discussion on research infrastructures, research on the study of religion, policy making, innovation and impact.

Keynote

The morning keynote, Scholarship on Religious Experiences in the Age of Hate, will be delivered by Alberto Melloni (FSCIRE), offering a timely reflection on scholarship in a polarized world.

Roundtable

The roundtable Research Infrastructures: Gaining Insights – Promoting Growth brings together an exceptional group of experts. Drawing on perspectives from regional policy, digital innovation, humanities research and high-performance computing, participants including Elisabetta Maini, Rita Monticelli, Davide Salomoni, Salvatore Capasso, Roberto Scopigno and Silvia Chiodi will discuss how RESILIENCE connects research centres, data holders and societal actors. The roundtable will explore present-day research needs, new digital possibilities and the strategic importance of research infrastructures for both academia and society.

To the afternoon panels international academics, project leaders and industry representatives will contribute: Roxanne Wyns, Rudy Demo, Joana Butėnaitė-Switkiewicz, Charles Senard, Herman Selderhuis, Hans-Peter Grosshans, Fabrizio D’Avenia, Eric Vallet, Anna Mambelli, Riccardo Vigliermo, Thomas Giro, Greg Paulson, Marleen Thaler, Hendro Munsterman, and Francesca Cadeddu. Together, the speakers will discuss how RESILIENCE supports services, innovation, impact and public engagement, highlighting the collective expertise shaping its future.
