Next Steps towards RESILIENCE ERIC
RESILIENCE is a dynamic and evolving infrastructure, so we continue to reflect on whether and how developments affect our guiding principles.
Questions
Do we need to update our vision and mission? What makes us unique, and how can we best communicate that to academia, policymakers, and others we interact with? Another day of working with the RESILIENCE team members was spent discussing these questions, and with great result as both the mission statement and the USP’s were updated and redefined. The agile approach so typical for how the workpackages and their members function allowed again for a vivid exchange and this way major next steps were discussed towards RESILIENCE ERIC.
Steps to Take
At the end of the two-day meeting the planning of the steps to take and the dates and locations of workshops, online and in-person meetings for the next twenty months were set, so everyone knows what to do when, where and with whom. The enthusiasm in this planning session reflected the eagerness to get RESILIENCE where it needs to be and to open it up for its research community.

RESILIENCE Transition to Implementation Phase (TIP, 2026-2028) aims at addressing the opportunities and challenges emerged during the RESILIENCE Preparatory Phase (2022-2026), and at getting the research infrastructure ready for becoming a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC).
