University of Sarajevo Opens Gates to Remarkable Special Collections

The University of Sarajevo with its affiliated member institutions will open gates to remarkable special collections through RESILIENCE. Watch the video to learn more about Bosnia and Herzegovina's contribution to the Research Infrastructure.

Among the rich collections are 10.585 units of manuscripts, written in Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and Bosnian language, and the Archive of the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, both in the holdings of the Gazi Husrev-bey Library.

Besides, the library of the Catholic Faculty of Theology of the University of Sarajevo offers literary treasures such as unique examples of the Bible in 16 languages, breviaries, and liturgy records in Latin and Greek.

The National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an associated member institution of the University will also contribute to the collections.
