After five calls for applications and 44 completed research stays in this phase, the RESILIENCE TNA team looks back on the results and takes provisional stock: what has it achieved so far?
In the past years no fewer than five calls for applications have been launched, resulting in research stays for scholars in a wide range of fields (philosophy, history, philology, etc.) across borders. The calls were widely distributed via website, newsletter, social media, press releases etc.
The calls resulted in 93 fellowship applications (18 per call on average), of which 71 were accepted. Scholars from 24 countries in Europe submitted an application.

Scholars from 24 countries have submitted an application.

44 research stays have been completed, whereas 15 will still be completed in the upcoming academic year. For various reasons, there were also cancellations and postponements.

20 articles were published, whereas 4 articles are forthcoming.

The TNA team was delighted with the results, which are in line with the predefined success factors and show that there is interest throughout Europe in transnational access research stays. In addition, the substantive evaluation among the TNA fellows clearly showed that they greatly appreciate the research stays, not least because of the benefits offered by personal contacts.
A more extensive report reflecting on the full programme is expected in the course of 2026.
