The National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NULB&H) launched its digitization program in 2005 to preserve and promote the country’s cultural heritage. Supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Digital Collections portal was established with the aim of protecting original documents while making them widely accessible online. The collection includes some of the Library’s most valuable materials from its Special Collections—rare and old books, manuscripts, maps, and graphics—as well as historical periodicals and official publications. All digitized content is considered public national heritage, provided under open access principles (Creative Commons), and continuously expanded. Digital copies are available for personal, educational, and research use, while commercial use requires written approval from the Library. Unauthorized distribution, modification, or resale of files is prohibited. The project was realized with the support of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo and other expert collaborators.

It brings together data from analyses of colour materials in illuminated manuscripts kept at the BnF, as well as, for a small number of data, in libraries in the regions.
The main objective of this database of physico-chemical analysis data is to create an interdisciplinary conceptual model that meets the different needs of the scientific communities working on color and its materials. To this end, the data related to the materiality of works in AGORHA have been structured within a new materiality block, and documentary thesauri on materials and techniques have been developed. More broadly, through this database, it is a question of better integrating the study of the materials that make up works of art in the field of art history, in particular by documenting their circulation in time and space and by questioning the links they can maintain with style and iconography.
