Core Service

Transnational Access Programme

The RESILIENCE Transnational Access (TNA) Fellowship Programme provides on‑site and virtual access to leading European libraries and research institutions. It helps scholars in Religious Studies reach valuable sources, collections, expertise, and services. TNA hosts open their collections—such as manuscripts, rare books, and archival materials—and RESILIENCE connects successful applicants with experts who can offer tailored support. In recent years, more than 50 scholars have used this programme to their complete satisfaction. TNA will therefore be an important offering in the future RESILIENCE services catalogue.

What We Offer

  • Support for researchers requiring direct physical and virtual access to their specific research material.
  • Access to the expertise of local peers.
  • Increased visibility for publications resulting from the research visit.
Unless otherwise indicated on the webpages of the TNA hosts, there is no financial support nor any assistance in finding lodging from the side of RESILIENCE nor from the side of the TNA host.

How You Benefit

  • You have direct and effective access to research materials, as well as a place to work.
  • You have faster access to resources, which means more effective use of research time.
  • You receive tailored institutional support and guidance by local experts relevant to your research.
  • You can build up your academic and/or professional network within your area of expertise.
  • You can promote your research using RESILIENCE channels.

"Through the dedication of its team and the supportive environment of the library, RESILIENCE demonstrates that unified efforts can surmount any research obstacle encountered."
